PTrAIn is operated by Tel Kershaw, a certified personal trainer based in London, UK. This page explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it — in plain English, because that's how we'd want it explained to us.

1. What we collect

Account details: your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name.
Fitness profile: what you enter to build a plan — age, weight, height, goals, level, equipment, sleep, stress, diet preferences, and any injuries or allergies you tell us about.
Training data: workouts logged, weights lifted, personal bests, bodyweight entries, and your generated plans.
Payment status: which tier you're on. We never see or store your card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
Reviews and feedback you choose to submit.

2. Why we collect it

To provide the service: your profile and history are what make your programmes personalised and adaptive — without them the product doesn't work.
To keep your progress safe: your email links your data so you can restore it on any device.
To send service emails: welcome and account updates. Unsubscribe from marketing anytime.
To improve the product: understanding which features get used.

Health-related details you enter (like injuries) are used solely to build safe, appropriate programmes for you. Never sold, never shared with advertisers, never shown to any employer.

4. PTrAIn for Business

If you use PTrAIn through your employer, they see anonymised, aggregate engagement data only — how many employees are active, how many sessions were logged. Your individual health, fitness and training data is never visible to your employer.

5. How long we keep it

While your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your data from our live database within 30 days. Stripe retains payment records as financial regulations require.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to: see a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, export it, or restrict how we process it. Email tel@ptrain.app — actioned within days, always within one month. You can also complain to the ICO, the UK data regulator.

7. Cookies & local storage

No advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to keep your plans available on your device and remember settings like dismissed banners. That's it.

8. Children

PTrAIn is designed for adults. Under 16? Please involve a parent or guardian.

9. Changes

Meaningful changes get posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
